What we’re looking for

Mass FX Media is a Denver-based, motion design and post-production studio. We focus on motion design, animation, and post-production for brands, documentary shows and films. We’re looking for senior motion designers to join our team.

The right person has studio-level experience collaboratively leading projects. Some of our larger films have hundreds of shots and elements that need to be carefully designed to be used in a shared production pipeline. Organization along with great design and strong motion sensibilities is key to success in this role.

This is an in-person role at our studio in Denver. We believe in the power of creative collisions around the office, building up junior artists, and doing life together as humans. Our company culture promotes these values and lets us design, work, and play together as a team here in our Wheat Ridge facility.

In this role, you will join our existing team to lead and support motion design projects that range from explainer videos to animation and title design for feature films and network series. You will need to be a self-starter, be able to problem-solve both technical and creative challenges, be organized and a team player. A sense of humor is required.

For someone with a 3D focus, the right senior motion designer would have chops in Cinema4D and Redshift, and Unreal Engine experience is a bonus. You must have advanced experience in After Effects for 2D and compositing techniques to complete your work. We are looking for team members who not only have an excellent design eye, but also great sensibilities for timing and motion.

For someone with a 2D focus, the right senior motion designer would have advanced After Effects capabilities knowing how to use After Effects with a deep understanding of its core toolset, the Trapcode suite and Cinema4D to After Effects workflows.
