Mass FX Media is a Denver-based, post-production studio specializing in finishing, motion design, visual effects and animations for brands, films and series.

We have an opening for a student, someone early in their career, or someone transitioning their career who is interested in a 3-month internship working alongside our post-production team.
This role can be an aspiring motion designer, visual effects artist, editor, colorist, post sound mixer/designer or post-producer who would like to learn the ropes of working in a studio.
You'll be working on branded short-form content, feature films and series during your time with our team.
Job Status: Part-time, Hourly, 15-20 hours per week
Location: Mass FX Media, 5940 W 38th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO
Rate: $20/hour
Roles and Responsibilities
This position will run June 1 through August 28, 2026, and you will take on whatever tasks are needed to help keep the studio and projects running smoothly while getting the chance to try out designing, animating sections of videos, editing, playing with sound and color, attending and running our events, or coordinating for projects. You'll get to work alongside and shadow an experienced team that you can ask questions and get help with anything you're curious about in the post-production world.
Types of projects include explainer videos, infographics, title design, data visualizations, graphic packages and typography. Clients include documentary and narrative filmmakers, large corporations and small, local companies.
Required Experience
Student: 2+ years of schooling in video, film, motion design, animation, visual effects or post-production.
Early Career: 2+ years of experience doing personal projects or relevant experience within the film/video industry.
Required Skills and Abilities
Working knowledge of the video production process
Proficiency in Adobe Suite Software, if applicable
Experience with Blender, Maya or Cinema4D is a plus for folks interested in 3D
Proficient with spreadsheets also a plus for someone looking to learn the ropes of producing
Open mind and willing to learn, try new things and take risks with your work
Excellent communication skills
A sense of humor is required

Adobe Creative Suite - specifically Premiere and After Effects, but also Audition, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Resolve or AVID knowledge is a plus
Google Slides, Sheets and Docs
ftrack (project management software)
