The final Digital Cinema Package was mastered entirely in-house at 38th & Post, allowing the Mass FX team to identify and resolve any conformance issues before the package left the building, long before they could become problems on the distributor’s end.
To elevate the credit roll, we introduced a subtle wing-inspired pattern that added visual texture and movement without distracting from the names on screen. The design helped carry the film’s visual tone through the final moments, giving the credits a more polished and intentional finish while adding a layer of understated visual interest.
For the filmmakers, the single-vendor model meant creative decisions were never slowed down by logistical hurdles. Notes on the color grade stayed streamlined and collaborative instead of getting buried in long chains of vendor emails, while the audio mix and credit design were developed with full awareness of one another from the start. By keeping the entire finishing process under one roof, Mass FX was able to deliver a polished, exhibition-ready DCP prepared for every market the film entered.
