It began as a memorial video

In 2019, soon after Marty passed away, the family came to Mass FX to create a short memorial video featuring family and friends talking about Marty's impact on them.

The more we learned, the longer the video got and eventually, it developed into a short documentary about the impact Marty had on the LGBTQ+ community in Denver and across the country through his Tracks nightclubs.

Supporting through AIDS and the Orlando Club Shooting

Over the 35+ years that Marty and his team ran Tracks, he started one in Denver, Orlando and New York. He supported the community through the terror of the HIV/AIDS crisis offering free testing for anyone that needed it and fundraising for much-needed research during a time that the government wouldn't acknowledge the disease.

Putting RiNo on the map

The River North district, or RiNo, was nothing but warehouses when Marty decided to move Tracks and open up EXDO in the area. With the help of his staff and committed club attendees, Tracks helped put this area of Denver on the map for craft food, beverage, restaurants and artists. Many creative businesses, including Mass FX, call this area home to do their work and play.
