With the amount of information being presented, it was crucial to have it be understandable in an elegant yet simplified way. We created timelines that would help keep the viewer grounded in the sequence of events and could also contain supporting imagery if needed.
For the main title of the film, we transformed the Title IX legacy into a living monument, turning history itself into the environment. Archival footage and historic headlines are projected across the walls of a chiseled stone logo, evoking the grandeur and weight of traveling through the halls of Congress.
In presenting archival information, sources ranged from scanned original documents to screen captures from website articles. We developed looks for both, with framing and drifts being the cohesive visual language across each container.
